Bug Description

I have a very long password for twitter. It looks as if it's not possible to type it in, only to paste it in. Typing the password seems to get stuck. Am using 1.2.0~bzr346 on Karmic.

I was able to reproduce this bug. For me, it started failing when the password was 49 characters or more.

Thanks for your branch. Please remove the "commented" code bits (#def auth ...) and request a merge to lp:gwibber (if you havent committed it there directly yet). Also I noticed that you have more bug fix branches; please request merges for them too.

I have removed the commented methods, and pushed to the branch. I apologize
as this is my first time committing to launchpad, so I don't completely
understand the procedure. Is the way I am creating a branch per issue the
correct way to go about things? Or should I pack multiple bugs into the same
branch?

I will request for them to be merged. Thanks for your comments!
