Bug Description

The largest social networking community in The Netherlands is Hyves (http://hyves.net and http://www.hyves.nl). Every user has the ability to set their "Who What Where" status and see the status of their friends.

I would love to be able to integrate this with Gwibber. Any chance support for Hyves "Who, What, Where" can be added?

The above is very true.
I would love to see the integration in Gwibber for a Hyves client connector !!

Hyves has an API ( http://hyves-api.hyves.nl/ ) which you can interact with. A couple of pages about these are: http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/OpensocialStart and http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIGettingStarted (both in English).

A service which currently exports twitter posts to the Hyves "Wie Wat Waar" (Who What Where) status updates can be found here: http://oproer.com/twwwitter/

I would like it as well to see hyves support in Gwibber.

The hyves api (http://trac.hyves-api.nl/) uses OAuth for authorization (http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIUserAuthorization).

The statuses can be retrieved using http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIMethods/2.0/wwws.getByUser (can also return geocodes)
And the posting can be achieved using http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIMethods/2.0/wwws.create (it also supports a "where" with geocode)
