Bug Description

Every LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/) member can update a status message. It seems like there is no public API for LinkedIn, but it is possible to apply for API access.

I really like this idea to add LinkedIn to Gwibber since it seems that there is no LinkedIn client available on GNU/Linux.

Opensocial support is the right way to do this, so I've marked this as a duplicate of #520845 :)

One more for LinkedIn! Now you could finally combine Facebook and LinkedIn messages into one window!

Just as a sidenote if you do use twitter, you can inject twitter feed into linkedin. Actually I only post in identi.ca via gwibber, which then posts to twitter, which then posts to LinkedIn.

In C/h/i/n/a, most users cannot get accessed to facebook or twitter. However, LinkedIn is available.
Thus, if LinkedIn is added to Gwibber service, the future of Gwibber in C/h/i/n/a is supposed to be promising...
