Error when using a custom laconi.ca server

Bug Description

after adding a custom laconi.ca account I am receiving the following error on "retrieve messages": "InvalidURL: nonnumeric port: ''"

the laconi.ca server is twitterok.com

I was able to access the account through twhirl using the screen name "<email address hidden>"

after doing some testing I found that if I just used "twitterok.com" with no http:// I get the following:

URLError: <urlopen error [Errno 1] _ssl.c:480: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unkown protocol>
