Going to hold off on this until we get comprehensive oauth support. See: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381133.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381133 seems to be set to Won't Fix. Will this mean that we can't get yammer support?

Bug 381133 says it has somehow been fixed in the ppa, are you gonna continue with this effort? I would be really nice to have feature.

Second that. Now that OAuth is in, Yammer support would be really nice.

Yammer support would be great. There are no decent clients for yammer.

I created a branch to implement this, but I don't know how to add a new protocol to Gwibber. I posted Question 124743 asking for info but it hasn't been answered yet.

Regards.

I've been working on this for a couple of nights now, and basic functionality is working fine. However, I'm having problems implementing "like" and "delete". I also have no graphics for it yet, I've only been using the twitter images as placeholders for now.

I'd like to add direct messages and "my stream" instead of only "company stream" before pushing it.

The stupid yammer air application is crashing several times each day. I am looking forward to this.

Sounds great Marius, thanks for working on this. :) At this point anything would be better than what I'm currently doing (getting emails every time there is an update to the company stream).

Any update on this? Some beta code that we could compile & test?

Plugins can now be created out of tree, so this is a good candidate for creating a plugin. You can look at lp:gwibber-service-sina as an example, unfortunately we don't have plugin developer documentation yet. However, if you are interested in developing a plugin (shouldn't be too difficult), join us in #gwibber on FreeNode and we can try to guide you through it
