Geany is blank after opening gvfs remote files

Hi,
after I upgraded from 14.04 to 15.10, when I try to open remote files via Geany it opens blank with no content in it. Gedit on the other hand works fine. Clearing config files doesn't help.

Hmm, also it displays an error regarding the file or directory doesn't exist if I try to open it directly through Geany. Opening it from Nautilus Geany says it opened just fine, sadly in both cases no content is loaded.

I have the same behaviour - gedit works so I can open in that and then copy to geany to edit as I prefer that. Also 15.10

Sadly, I've found out that this is more of a GVFS problem than Geany's. I can't even cd to that directory.

I am also experiencing this after an upgrade to 15.10. I can navigate the remote directories and gedit works fine, but geany shows all remote files as empty.

Same issue here. also, trying to open a remote pdf with okular fails while opening it with evince works as expected.

I have 14.04 LTS + kernel 4.2.3 (cause of video problems)
And bug is actual for me
