Bug Description

Should the program check to see if it's running before allowing another instance of the program to be launched?

It's a problem this feature, I can work for solved it... but always exist ufw in the command...
Then I will not fix this bug. Sorry!

Maybe you could ckeck if other instance of Gufw is running and if it is send it some sort of command to show it? Then the last instance will die and the other (older) will be shown.

ufw is a one-time run command. Gufw on the other hand is run for longer. It
really doesn't make sense to allow multiple instances of gufw running - and
that might even screw up the program if the user manages to run several by
accident (and then edit settings).

That's true, It can cause several (serious) problems if user uses both instances. I'll nominate it for 0.0.8 release.

Yes, I don't know do it, and the user always can use ufw in the terminal...
