don't use -l if login name is blank

Bug Description

For multi user systems, it would be nice to be able to not provide the login name so it uses the currently logged in user. My thought is that if the login name is empty, then the -l switch will not be used.

Currently if you don't provide the login name, the ssh command is still supplied with the -l switch but with no parameters so it bombs.
