It would be simpler to be able to grab and drag the border in order to resize the desired record area.

Thank you for reporting this feature request. This is not something that Ubuntu Engineering will do ourselves. However, we love this project, so I linked your feature request to the upstream project in case those developers would like the input. If they do so, we will, of course, pick up the feature as we track upstream.
