Bug Description
I am trying to record a fairly lengthy video (~45 minutes). I can't use on-the-fly encoding because it drops frames and I need a higher framerate to maintain quality.
It will record fine; and start the encoding process normally. However, it invariably gets partway through and "completes", even though it has only partially encoded the video. So, for a 45 minute recording I get anywhere from a 5 minute to 20 minute video.
Currently using the following command:
recordmydesktop -y 165 -width 1024 -height 535 --full-shots --no-cursor -fps 30 -channels 1 -freq 48000 -device pulse
Setup is on Arch Linux with an Nvidia 340xx driver (Card is an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS).
