[Needs plugin] Gantt chart (as in Pagico)

Pagico for Linux: http://www.pagico.com/linux/ has a great feature of displaying a beautiful Gannt chart next to the task list.

It gives a great "big picture" of tasks and allows to easily move them. The colors look amazing too.

It is available for 32-bit Ubuntu 9.10 as 15-day trial, but the screenshot on web page gives the idea perfectly.

I think it would be great for a plugin :)

Interesting idea. I like the concept.

I can even imagine doing that without any project management features, only by using start_date and due_date. (but then, it would not be a GANTT at all). It could even be part of the export plugin, isn't it?

I see that better as a plugin, at least for the first version. If anybody is interested, I will be happy to help but I will probably not start that kind of work myself.
