Bug Description

A gnome do plugin to insert and search tasks would be great. Maybe first we need to have dbus support

See Bug #329989 for DBUS support status

I started a gtg plugin for gnome-do. Now waiting for DBUS to be finished.

Please add your wishes for the functionality of the plugin.

Currently "search for task" and a simple "add task" is supported.

Luca Invernizzi (invernizzi) wrote :

Philip, dbus support has been released in 0.2. If you ne8ed anything else in it, just ask.
Have you still the code for the plugin? I found a branch, but it's empty.

If I understand correctly

There's nothing we can do about that plugin, it should be merged in the gnome-do repository.

As we have the DBus interface, I propose to assign this bug to gnome-do itself and close it on the GTG side. Of course, we will be more than happy to reply to specific bugs that gnome-do developers could have but I believe that this generic bug should be closed.

What do you think?

summary: - Gnome do plugin
+ Gnome do plugin for GTG

I agree, on our side we could open a blueprint (just to remember it).

[Closing as per previous comments; the need is for a plugin in gnome do; not something needing implemented in gtg itself.]
