gtg_new_task presents window but does not give it focus

When using GNOME (don't know about other desktops), running gtg_new_task either from a terminal window or from a custom keyboard shortcut presents the new task window but does not give it focus.

what do you mean "not give it focus". I tried to reproduce this bug in my Fedora 19 GNOME desktop. gtg_new_task works and new task editor is opened and get the input focus. Could you provide more detail information or a screenshot?

Here's a screencast of what I mean. The keyboard shortcut is already set up. Starting from another window having focus, I press the keyboard shortcut and a New Task window is shown. Next I start typing, but the keystrokes end up in the original window that had focus because opening a New Task window.
