Bug Description
If you have a color scheme with a darker background, everything very hard to read. It appears the text color of the tasks area text is explicitly set to black but the backround is not explicitly set to white. My preference would be to unset the text-color and let the theme do it's thing.
I am using GTG 0.3-development from the daily PPA on ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-shell.

I think this is a regression and I am one who made it :D Could you please attach a screenshot of the situation and tell me the name of GTK theme you use? So I can reproduce it?
