Bug Description

End-users need a simple way to install Gtg-win... so we have to provide an all-in-one installer.

feednotifier is a windows only python app http://www.feednotifier.com/, installer and portable version available ! Seems to be a good example of how produce what we really need !

i think part of the difficulty in packaging gtg-win centres around
its dependencies outside of the 'core' python modules.

i think the next thing i will do is create a list of dependencies and see
how these can be met - eg including library files in the root directory of
the exectuable to see if that works.

maybe some work needs to be done to the python code to wrap it in a windows
executable?

You can also use cx_freeze which is currently maintained and works with latest versions of python

thank you very much for that information. it looks very useful.

i will investigate this over the next week and see if i can produce an
install/executable using this tool.
