incorrect resolution at boot if monitor is off or inactive

Bug Description

If the monitor is inactive/asleep or off at boot (presumably when grub proceeds with default), the resolution is being set to 2580x1440 instead of 2560x1440. When the monitor is turned on or becomes active, the appearance is like the image is stretched across the diagonal and scrolling quickly. Nothing is readable. My monitor then pops up and says the resolution is set to 2580x1440 and should be set to 2560x1440. I have to power my system off then back on to fix.

Didn't see it was assigning to SSO provider. I'm not positive it's grub, but I'm guessing it could be related to $vt_handoff and I don't have much time to dig into it more right now.

affects: canonical-identity-provider → grub
