Bug Description

AFAIK Grub customizer does not support GRUB Legacy. It would be nice if GRUB Customizer could display a warning if it is used with GRUB Legacy or any other unsupported GRUB version.

Grub Legacy has different configuration directories/files. So grub customizer just asks for each directory. So I think you cannot accidentially configure grub legacy using grub customizer. Also grub legacy can be installed alongside grub 2. So i'd have to find out that there's grub 1 but no grub 2. This would be possible when there are the same pathes on all systems but they are different (this is the reason why I have to ask for pathes). Finally the only thing I can do is adding an info on top of the window which asks for pathes.

I'd be happy to see any improvement - an info window would certainly be useful.

The problem that I originally had was that I was trying to configure Ubuntu to start in text-only mode. I used a grub-customizer build from your PPA to try that. I wasn't able to get it to work as I wanted: I didn't get an entry for starting out in text mode. I tried to read up on editing the GRUB files manually but the write-ups from Ubuntu didn't match up with what I saw on may laptop. After some more research I found out that I actually still had GRUB legacy. I suppose it was installed when I initially installed Ubuntu some years ago. Apparently it was never upgraded when I upgraded Ubuntu. So GRUB customizer couldn't have worked because it wasn't intended to deal with that setup. So I thought it might be useful to display a warning if GRUB customizer encounters a setup that it cannot handle or that is "unsual" in some fashion.
