unable to load page after sign-in

After clicking Login to Launchpad in the Configuration, entering my credentials and clicking the 'Yes, sign me in '-button, I get an error message saying Unable to load page. Problem occurred while loading the URL , Connection terminated unexpectedly.
The URL it is trying to load is a long, openid-calback url:

PS: groundcontrol.log is not filled with anything, it stays empty.

Does this happen with the latest version or with the version in the archive?

I don't know where I can see that, but it was the latest version at that moment in the software center.
It is version 1.6.6-1

I just tried again with Ubuntu 11.04, now it doesn't give me any URL, it just says connection closed unexpected.
And I could get some logs, see attachment
