Bug Description

Lintian reports:
    W: groundcontrol: postinst-has-useless-call-to-update-menus
N: The postinst script calls the update-menus program though no file is
    N: installed in /etc/menu-methods, /usr/share/menu, or /usr/lib/menu.
    N: Severity: minor, Certainty: certain

I couldn't find anything it was supposed to be adding to the menus. Can I safely remove this stanza from rules:
    # Update menus
    if [ -x /usr/bin/update-menus ] ; then

I can make the change, but I'm waiting on Martin's ACK in case I missed something.
