Bug Description
Attribute indexes are only added to a catalog when an application is created. If you want to update the catalog you have to use the ZMI and it only supports text and field indexes. This makes updating applications a problem, you need to export all the data, recreate the application and import all the data again in order to add a new attribute index.
Needless to say this is a deal breaker for agile development techniques and a big drawback when using the ZODB as a data source.
