Grnotify keeps closing [incompatible with python2.6]

Randomly, the tray icon seems to keep closing. I think it's crashing, but I'm not getting any message from apport about it. It's kind of annoying to have to keep reloading ever couple hours.
Also, The won't allow the number of new feeds to be under 1. It'll also occasionally freeze. Other times, it won't update no matter how many times I tell it to Refresh.

I've figured it out. The crashing and overall flakyness is caused by the addition of python2.6. When I changed the first line of the program to "#!/usr/bin/python2.5" all the errors I was having went away.

Okay, not all the errors. I'll still occasionally get the random closing.

I ran a backtrace, I got this response from the commandline:
