unable to post problem to forum

Today, February 18, 2013, I have not been able to post a problem to the forum. This is the problem I'm having:

I have a new PC and I am trying to restore the database. I have installed v13. When I click on 'restore' and point to the backup db nothing happens. It would be really helpful to have a more informative restore step. Which file do I select? I'm assuming the .db but nothing happens when I select it.

My OS: Windows 7 home premium sp1 64-bit

Thanks, Michael, this looks like a new install of griffith. Do I need to uninstall the current version or can I install over it?

Please uninstall the previous version before.
