Bug Description
Granular 1.0 boot process is slower than most of the major distros in their current versions. This is due to the time eaten up by some kernel modules that try to unsuccessfully install themselves in the kernel, for example ndiswrapper.

The last release of Unity was extremely fast to boot. Based on it, Granular should also be able to boot fast.
