Single click to select day in DatePicker instead of double

Bug Description

In the mini-calendar widget available in Add Event, one must double click to set the day. It makes more sense for this to accept a single click instead.

I am not sure if this is possible with the current Gtk.Calendar, as it doesn't have this kind of option. The day_selected signal fires everytime the date is changed (e.g. when changing the month in the calendar) which means that it can't be used. I would like to be proven wrong, but atleast I can't see any solution to this with the current widget.
