Very small "usage" values in Properties dialog show up weird until focus changes

1. Have a folder that takes up a small amount of total disk space, i.e. < 1 GB out of a 120 GB drive.
2. Open the Properties dialog on that folder

Expected:
The Device Usage widget shows the used portion in blue inside of the bar.

Actual:
The Device Usage widget shows the used portion in blue before the beginning of the bar.

Note:
This may be a Granite bug, but I've only ever experienced it in Files, so I'm marking both as affected. Screenshots incoming.
