Bug Description
The Granite code ships with a COPYING file, and file headers, indicating that it's licensed under a variety of GPLv2 or later (e.g. Main.vala) and GPLv3 or later (AboutDialog.vala, System.vala, etc.) -- so effectively the collection is under GPLv3 or later.
However, on the project page it's listed as under LGPLv3.
Which is accurate? If Granite is intended only for Elementary app development, I suppose that means all Elementary apps must be GPLv3 (optionally, or later), and that's a reasonable limitation. If Granite is intended to be used by third parties, LGPLv3+ might be a more flexible licensing.
Either way, one or the two probably needs to be brought in line with the other.

Supposedly, the project is licensed on LGPL, because we want to let proprietary applications to use it. However, some files have the wrong headers, I think I can look into that.
