Bug Description

hi,

I would like to see some sort of very basic "snippet" support in gnusim8085, so that commonly used code could be added to such a snippet library (i.e. loops, functions, procedures) and then be available to users, so that they can browse such snippets, possibly enhanced with some sort of meta information about each snippet (type, purpose, description).
Also, it would be cool if such snippets could be parametrized via the UI.

Thanks for considering this suggestion, and thanks also for this project!!

yes this would be useful and add to the learning experience, given that new users could simply access a pre-compiled library of source code snippets that are tested and known to work, preferably this would be well-commented to improve the learning experience

you may want to check out the 8085 community website, they have a number of example programs with varying difficulty:

Maybe some of these could be included in future versions of gnusim8085?

some candidates for such a library of commonly used code would probably be generic routines for working with 16 bit numbers, as well as floating point stuff? For example, routines to add/multiply and divide?

Likewise, a generic implementation for a loop with a 16 bit counter?
