Gnumed livecd crashes on boot

Bug Description

Downloaded the Latest Live-CD.
On booting it, I got the debian menu, but could not use either mouse or keyboard to chose an option.
The standard option started, but then the screen went to an error: "cannot use this display modus". Its an error from my display, so I guess Debian tries to use a wrong driver or so. I cannot chose the safe-boot option, because the keyboard & mouse don't work.
The same cd boots perfectly on my 5 year old laptop (!).

On the PC, I normally run Ubuntu Intrepid. I do have some problems with my graphics card: it is an NVIDIA 7100GS, and when I activate the drivers in Ubuntu, the card gets quickly too hot.

Hi. This is more an issue with Live-Helper than with GNUmed but thanks for reporting. Hopefully future versions will fix it.

This issue is believed to be fixed by the new Live-CD and new live-helper used on Debian 5.0. Please try again. Thanks
