Bug Description

Context was after having passed through the login window, without the selected GNUmed database being able to be reached, or invalid selection.
Error is:
AttributeError: 'StaticBoxSizer' object has no attribute 'GetTopWindow'
Suspicion is either memory corruption or a bug in wxPython/wxWidgets related to wx.GetApp() returning a StaticBoxSizer instance.
