Bug Description

How do you handle when people have privacy addons installed in Firefox? As I understand it, items are added to the DB when they are visited (if the daemon is running). Clearing the cache in Firefox will not get rid of the items in the DB, so this might be problematic for users who are not fully aware of the power of the apps they use.
Maybe some way of noticing that the browser is in some kind of privacy mode, and asking the user if they want logging turned off for specific browsers (or browser profiles)?

Moving back to "New" because this needs formal discussion and agreement. "Confirmed" means "we'll do this".

I'm not sure where to re-assign this bug, as in, what needs to happen for it to be solved.

In any case, the Firefox use case is now solved with Firefox 3.5's "private browsing".
