Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-utils
In corporate environment, user's home directory may contain mounted hidden folders like ~/.backups or ~/.snapshots. Scanning them for disk usage will return huge volumes of data. In addition, there are files that a typical user should not mess with until she knows what she's doing.
In other words, it would be beneficial to have "Don't scan hidden folders and files" configuration parameter, and make it possible to turn it on by default with gconf policy or /etc/ file.
