Bug Description

Since the upgrade to Yakkety Gnome-TODO doesn't show my remote CalDav task list that were set through evolution. The list are still available in working in Evolution.

I tried to set them up again but they didn't appear.
I tried upgrading to version available in various gnome3-ppa (still 3.20.* though) and it didn't help.

The bug seems to have been handled in Fedora : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=1363848 and https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-db729be3e1 (I found those while searching the web for a solution).

After talking to the gnome-todo dev, I was pointed that gnome-todo 3.20 is deprecated and should be replaced with the 3.22. Is that change possible before 17.04 ?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and make Ubuntu better.

I backported gnome-todo 3.22 to the GNOME3 Staging PPA for Ubuntu 16.10. Give it an hour to build and publish.

If gnome-todo is broken in Ubuntu 16.10, we should fix it if we can. The usual Ubuntu policy is that Stable Release Updates should be minimal so it would be nice if someone could identify the specific commits that fix that issue.

Ubuntu 16.10 shipped with the latest version of gnome-todo available at the time (3.22 was not released until November but Ubuntu 16.10 was released in October).

I upgraded to Ubuntu 17.04 yesterday and gnome-todo 3.22.1-2 still doesn't display EDS tasks fetched from caldav.
Evolution itself shows them just fine.
Btw, the zesty packages also shows a question mark as icon in Unity's side bar and "Unknown Application Name" in the title bar.

Please report bug to upstream, not in debian. Thanks.

I think this is the bug upstream : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=776393

(and https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=782541 may be related).

You can give them some heat over there.
