Bug Description

I've seen Gnome Wayland is the new default session, or at least after the update the system started that session, with "Gnome (Xorg)" on the third place in the menu.
Anyway, the mouse is not precise and there is lag in moving it or during xwayland apps execution, the same problem not seen (at this level) on other DEs.
In general I don't think GNOME or KDE Wayland are ready for primetime; input profiles aren't comparable to Xorg ones even on KDE
On the other end, GNOME on Xorg is considerably faster than previous release.
I'm probably reporting this bug:

sorry if duplicate

Although if you mean "touchpad" instead of "mouse" then that's a whole different issue caused by the introduction of libinput with Wayland:

Considering the influence on UX of these bug, really wayland is the new default on intel graphics powered devices?

It's all about the wider audience. For most people there are little noticeable performance issues in Wayland. Either because they have powerful hardware or are less observant, or both.
