Bug Description
When I enter in my session, empathy starts the messenger session but the status icon of gnome-shell remains showing the offline icon (see attached screenshot).
If I press the option "Disponible" (Available) in menu and I close the menu, it updates the status icon of gnome-shell.

It works if I add "empathy -h" to start-up apps.
