Bug Description

Acer Extensa 7630EZ doesnt show battery in the indicator-applet. The options for the battery-power in the power-settings are disabled, as no battery is detected, however its built in. On my old extensa 5620 the battery-state operated correctly.

the system tells that apport isnt installed, in the packagemanager it is marked as installed. this is the output:

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.

Hi Pedro,

thanks for remembering to this bug. After upgrading to 11.04 this
problem never has attempted, maybe it was a problem with the settings of
the acpi-manager.
