SEGV on selecting a different brush

Hi. Please be patient with me as I'm filing this on behalf of someone else, who does not have a launchpad account, and doesn't really want to open one to report one bug :)

The user is running Fedora 17 and experiencing a SIGSEGV when selecting a different brush to use while painting. They have given me the following information to provide, in the hope it will help.

System from uname -a :
