Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-keyring-manager

One thing that bothers me a lot on g-k-m is the fact that once you create a keyring the password is set forever.

I looked around on lp, but could not find one bug talking about it, so I decided to open this one.

Upstream there is http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338088, but it does not seem like much is being done about that.

I am refraining right now to set an affects upstream bug because I may have missed a LP bug on it.

Ah well, since I am opening it...

<rant>
I am not sure how I can call g-k-m a manager, since it does not seem to manage much at all: I cannot change a keyring password, I cannot move entries from a keyring to another, I cannot delete an entry from a keyring. It is more correct to call it gnome-keyring-displayer.
</rant>
