Recording of 2 programs fails

It's possible to add 2 overlapping programs if they're in same multiplex to recording schedule, but it has quite strange behavior. when you watch it during recording, size of both files is increasing, but when recording finishes, program which finished sooner has zero length and program which finished later is not complete. I'm not 100% sure but it seems to me that it finishes recording when first program finishes.
I'have PlayTV, which has 2 tuners and for this behavior it doesn't matter if they're in the same group or 2 different ones.

Whether 2 programs are on the same multiplex or not only matters if you want to record two show simultaneously using a single tuner. With your setup each tuner should be responsible for one recording, especially if you setup two device groups. Could you please start the daemon with "gnome-dvb-daemon --debug", follow the steps you described above, and post the output here.

Probably I didn't make myself clear. Of course when I setup the recordings in different groups everything is recorded perfectly. When I setup two overlapping recordings in one group, it doesn't matter if the group has one or two tuners, it behaves same way in both cases.

For this test I've scheduled 2 recordings. 1 20:15 - 20:20 and 2 20:18 - 20:23.
Result is:
Recording 1 has 0 length
Recording 2 is 2 minutes long.

Could you please check if the attached patch fixes this issue.

As I understand this patch is for git version, am I right? Unfortunately I'm not able to compile git version, it requires too new versions of glib, gobject, etc. I'm using openSUSE 11.4 and it uses gnome-dvb-daemon 0.1.22, so I got sources of this version and tried manualy change ChannelFactory.vala according to your patch. It helped partially. Now no movie has zero length, however they're both finishing at the same time, so recording 1 is 5 minutes long as expected, but recording 2 is only 3 minutes long.
