Bug Description
since scanning is a very long operation, it should be cancellable. Unfortunately, cancel button is not active.
Moreover, until progress bar is updated a first time, there is no visible indication that a scan is in progress : either progress bar should be set to "K2000" mode until it reaches a non 0 value or mouse cursor should be set to busy cursor.
