Bug Description

In MultiView Activity journal will group similar events together (e.g. Visited Websites, Worked with Images, etc). However, in TimelineView and ThumbView the items only appear individually.

This behaviour can be annoying if you are getting data from Chrome or Firefox as the number of individual webpages you visit in a day may well be >100, thus website visits can overwhelm the TimelineView and ThumbView. Similarly if you are looking at photos grabbed off your camera, you could easily look at >100 photos in a short period of time.

Perhaps TimelineView and ThumbView should behave similarly (or there should be an option to behave similarly) to MultiView, grouping similar events, then expanding when clicked upon.

I agree. It would be nice to have an option to manually tag/group events together.

But perhaps there could also be a default. For instance, all tasks of a certain kind could start grouped -- such as grouping all files edited in geany, or group all webpages viewed in firefox.
