Bug Description

Hi,

I just enabled the autologin feature on Ubuntu 10.10. When I boot the computer, my session starts automatically and gnome-keyring-daemon asks me to unlock my login keyring.

However, gm-notify starts at the same time (before I have had time to type any password) and, as it finds the login keyring still locked, it asks me for the password to unlock it.

Therefore I have to type my password twice: One time to unlock the login keyring and another time to unlock gm-notify.

I would like to know if there is a way to fix this, maybe with some waiting at the beginning of gm-notify or if possible with a smarter solution.

For now, I have written the probably dirty, not-recommended bash script (attached) which sleeps if gnome-keyring-daemon has not started yet and then loads gm-notify.

Thanks!

PS: This problem is small for me, now imagine someone suffering this with 7 or 8 different applications... it must be a nightmare!

This annoys me too.
gm-notify is the only software asking me to unlock the keyring each time ubuntu is started.
(I use autologin)
It's not a big deal, but it's a bit annoying...
