Bug Description

As I reported in my previous issues, I have tried to generate a font using glyphtracer. Although I'm afraid I didn't succeed, I found the matching method extremely slow for the user.

Right now, the user has to click on the glyph image, select which character group is needed and then select the right character in that group. And this is only for a single character matching.

If you allow me an alternative (not meant to replace the present method), I would suggest the following:

1. Enable a right pane that numbers all glyphs images (from up to down, left to right [and in all images if multiple images are allowed]) and a field with the character value.
2. When the user goes to a field with the empty character value, the glyph image should be selected and the user types the character that matches that glyph image.
3. If a character is already assigned to a glyph image, there should be a warning noticing that the character has been already assigned to a glyph image (and this image should be highlighted).
4. The whole process would be faster if one can go from one character field to another using the tab.

The proposed alternative has three advantages over the current method: it makes the process faster, the matching process is much easier and the user can add characters not already included in glyphtracer without having to modify the program.

I hope it helps,

Pablo
