Nautilus integration for the coverflow part

Bug Description

Have you seen this bit of code?
http://blogs.sun.com/erwann/entry/zfs_on_the_desktop_zfs
It provides exactly what we need to put the coverflow into Nautilus. We theoretically only have to replace the slider code with the nautilus code. They already have anything else: a button to show/hide it, shortcuts, a configuration panel, etc...

John Stowers is working on this as a hobby. He has a working proof of concept.

Would it be possible to have somehow an hybrid mode, or the possibility to see the files below the clutter view ?
Also, can some of erwann's code be reused for configuration and invocation (especially to get rid of the drop down list)
