LXDE - Display does not refresh automatically

Bug Description

Every time you change the image of the circuit (placing any gate, highlight, ...) you need to maximize the window to see that change. So I think the resize forces glogic to put out a new frame, so the change is displayed. I don't think that it is supposed to work like that. :D

Same here. Upon adding component such as AND gate, it sit there and it doesn't move when I use my cursor. But after I resize or maximize/minimize the window, it refresh itself and show a different position of an AND gate.

This is telling me there is a frame rate issues.

The same goes to RUN simulation. It doesn't act anything and the frame freeze. But resizing the window has updated the recent change to new frame.

Yes this is the window not being redrawn, if you move something over it with compositing off it'll cause a redraw (at least underneath what you moved) - this is why re-sizing works, or scrolling away and back again.

It ought to be an easy fix and I can look at it if someone who knows the code doesn't. I'm used to wxWidgets not GTK+ though. If it isn't fixed soon please notify me and I'll do it!

Also this issue exists on (nearly) fresh Trisquel on Libreboot T400. So it's probably an issue with refresh using API.

Still affects me on KDE5 (Kubuntu). Also you can refresh the screen by scrolling up and down. Still makes it nigh unusable.

My workaround is to start a VNC server (realvnc 4), run glogic inside VNC and then connect to the VNC session locally. Not ideal, but at least the repainting works.
