Bug Description
Request:
Can this please be put on Mozilla's extension site? I don't see a reason not to. All it requires is just repackaging the <email address hidden> folder as a zip archive (and renaming the .zip extension to .xpi).
Reason:
On a distribution named Chakra, Firefox can be obtained either already built as a self-enclosed "bundle" or be built using a script that does all the work for you. The problem is that the bundle contains its own fake root file system that cannot be reached at all. So, even if I installed this extension to /usr/lib/firefox the bundle would never see it. While Firefox and Thunderbird can see extensions in /home, making packages that installs files to /home is always a bad idea.
Here's a thread that I made in the distro's forums: http://
Is there a reason that this extension is not distributed on Mozilla's website? From it I see, the only reqirement for this extension is libdbusmenu-gtk, so couldn't someone just put this in the extension's summary on Mozilla's website?
Thanks for the hard work. Also, I'm sorry if this was not the correct place to post this.
