Glipper does not forget entries across reboots

Bug Description
After upgrading to 14.04 glipper does not forget entries across reboots.
I have this option unchecked and if i clear items and reboot their they are.
It's not even the items i just put in glipper but some items from a previous session that alway appear after reboot.
It makes me thing that there is some history file somewhere that glipper is unable to handle.
Where does glipper store it's history?

It looks like it's (these days, anyway) stored in ~/.local/
