Glipper becomes "read only", no notify applet selection works

With 2.4-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 12.04.1 I get a bug pretty often.

The bug is that I cannot make any selection on the notification applet (the clipboard with G besides the clock in the top right corner).

If I single click it once and then click some clipboard entry, it is not chosen.

If I click Clear/About/Preferences/Plugins, nothing happens.

Re-starting glipper and it works again.

Same problem after upgrade to 12.10 w/ glipper 2.4-1.

Uninstalled in favor of clipit which seems to be working better.
