glance index does not show queued or saving images

Hi there,

I've configured Nova to use Glance. Everything is working fine except when I call uec-publish-image or euca-register on the image, the resulting image is not showing up by euca-describe-images.

I checked the file system and made sure
1. The images are in place at /var/lib/glance/images
2. The glance.sqlite in the images table, the state=queued for all registered images. They need to be active to show up under euca-describe-images.

I am running Ubuntu-10.10 with glance-2011.3~bzr125-0ubuntu0pp and nova-2011.3~bzr1031-0ubuntu0ppa1~maverick1.

Is this a bug? The earlier version of glance-2011.3~bzr124-0ubuntu0pp worked perfectly fine without this problem.

OK, so it turns out that instead of having glance index filter on only active status images, we will instead simply filter out 'killed' status images by default. This will mean that images in the 'queued' and 'saving' statuses will show up in glance index, and therefore in euca-describe-images as well.
