Unable to get images by image type

We should be able to get images by type. In Horizon for example, in order to populate the "boot image from" options, we currently retrieve all images and filter them by type

I'm talking about Images and Snapshots types. If we want only images then we have to get both images and snapshots and filter on the client. Same thing if we only want snapshots. I think it would be good to have the option to get only images and to get only snapshots
