Can you reproduce this crash each time you run Boot-Repair ?
Can you reproduce this crash when you run Boot-Repair from a Ubuntu12.04.1 liveCD (or liveUSB) ?

yes . I was having issues with ubuntu booting correctly as sometimes the
screen would not show the log in page when started. I eventually got into
ubuntu and tried boot repair and every time I tried this the same thing
would happen. I have ubuntu partitioned on my c: drive via wubi so as for
using a live CD or usb drive I am not sure.

ok, thank you.

Please could you either:

A) install Boot-Repair in a 12.04.1 CD ( https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair#A2nd_option_:_install_Boot-Repair_in_Ubuntu ), run Boot-Repair, and tell me if you reproduce the bug ?

B) OR boot on a Ubuntu-Secure CD ( https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuSecureRemix ), run Boot-Repair, and tell me if you reproduce the bug ?

Picture 23.jpg shows a "normal" warning (this warning should disappear if you install the 'os-uninstaller' package).

Picture 55.jpg shows that you were able to use Boot-Repair.

Please can you confirm that when you run Boot-Repair, the crash window appears, but Boot-Repair then runs normally?

Please can you tell me if the crash window appears when you run Boot-Repair after installing the 'os-uninstaller' package?

I mean normally when a boot repair process c starts and you reboot computer
it should do a boot repair before entering operating system . Instead goes
into regular ubuntu log in. I did.fix.this however . I had two different
sets of linux headers conflicting with each other . Used apt-get autoremove
and that solved it.

I think you are talking about the fsck check that happens sometimes when booting Ubuntu. This is not something related to Glade2script, nor the Boot-Repair utility.

I moved it in boot-sav - 3.194~ppa32~quantal .

Please re-open a bug if you reproduce with a version of 'boot-repair' newer than 3.194~ppa31
